Mass on a Spring Frequency and Period Physics Homework?

Mass on a Spring Frequency and Period Physics Homework?

A 50 g mass is attached to a massless spring and allowed to oscillate around an equilibrium according to:

y(t) = 1.2*sin( 3.1415*t ) where y is measured in meters and t in seconds.

So far I've figure out:

Amplitude = 1.2 m

Spring constant = 0.49345 N/m

Total Energy = 0.355284 J

Kinetic Energy = 0.355284 J

Velocity of the mass = 3.76 m/s

I can't solve:

What is the frequency of this motion? _____________ Hz

What is the period of the motion? ____________ s
