Two underground cables A and B, each has a conductor resistance of 0.65 ? and 0.75 ? respectively while their insulation resistances are 700 M ? and 500 ? respectively. Calculate the insulation resistance and conductor resistance if (i) the two cables are connected in series (ii) the two cables are connected in parallel.
