Sustainable Growth Problem

Hello!

I'm working on my environmental engineering homework and I'm not sure how to solve this problem.



Original Info: A farmer owns 20 chickens. After one year he has 100 chickens due to the reproduction of the original 20 chickens.



I solved that the growth rate is 161% and the doubling time is 0.43 years.



THE QUESTION: If the farmer wants to sell 1000 chickens per month, how many chickens must he maintain on his farm at all times to sustain his chicken-selling business?



I think I provided all the information necessary but if I left anything out please let me know!
