Calculate the atomic mass of alkali metal




A mixture (4.0 g) of KMnO4 and K2CR2O7 was dissolved in water and the solution made to 1 litre. 20 ml of this solution was treated with KI solution in presence of dil. H2SO4. The liberated iodine was titrated against 0.1 N sodium thiosulphate solution which required 25.2 ml for complete titration. Calculate the atomic mass of alkali metal.
