The power dissipated in 450 watts whom a voltage of 240 V at 30 Hz is applied to a coil and the current drawn is 10A. When the same voltage is applied to another coil the current drawn is 15 amperes and the dissipated is 960 watts. Calculate




  1. The inductive reactance of each coil


  2. The current and power takes when both coils are connected in series across the said voltage.
