(a) Three similar impedance when connected in delta across a 3 phase, 400 v, 50 Hz system takes a current of 13 a at a lagging  p.f. of 0.8 from the males. Calculate the resistance and inductance of each impedance.



(b) If the above three impedance are connected in star across the same supply as in (a) above, calculate (i) the current and (is) the kva takes from the lines.



(c) If one of the impedance in the star-connected system is (b) above becomes open circuited, calculated (i) the current and (ii) power taken from the lines.
