A moving-coil milli-ammeter has a resistance of 5 ? and a full scale deflection of 20 m A. Determine the resistance of a shunt to be used so that the instrument could measure currents up to 500 m A at 20 C. What is the percentage error in the instrument operating at a temperature of 40^oC. Temperature coefficient of copper = 0.0039 per ^oC.
