Problem: A cell has 15% NaC1 and is placed in fresh water. answer the following questions according to this information, draw a picture if necessary. 1.The cell is a ________ environment to the fresh water, the fresh water is a ________ environment to the cell. 2.Does the salt diffuse, if so why? 3. Does the water diffuse, if so which way? 4. What is the process called in #4? 5.What will happen to the cell? 6. What would happen to the cell if the environment was a 30% NaC1 solution? 7. What happens as the end result of diffusion? After it reaches this point, what would you call the enviornment in relation to the cell when reffering to soulute concentration?
