Physics problems

Hi! I have been doing all of my physics homework but stumbled upon 2 that i cannot answer! Please please help me :(

Prob1.

A person with weight of 70kg, fall into a water pool from a height of 50m above the ground, If the

friction force of water is constant of 10N, and assume the water surface is at the same level of ground

1)What is velocity when this guy reaches the surface of water? (you need to calculate this question in

two ways A.)use the conservation of energy law and B.) use the linear motion equation to solve)

2) by how much distance the guy will reach under the water? and how much time it takes ?

3) How much time it takes for the guy back to the surface of the water? (use g =10m/s^2)

Prob2.

Now if this person is jumping up with the angle of 45 degree and with initial speed of 5m/s,

1)What is “velocity” when this guy reaches the surface of water? (you need to calculate this question in two ways A.)use the conservation of energy law and B.) use the linear motion equation to solve)

2) by how much distance the guy will reach under the water? and how much time it takes ?

3) How much time it takes for the guy back to the surface of the water? (use g =10m/s^2)
