1.The presence of feathers on the legs of chickens is due to a dominant allele (F) and clean legs to its

recessive allele (f). Pea comb shape is produced by another dominant allele (P) and the single comb by its recessive allele (p).

Suppose you cross a hen which is homozygous dominant for comb shape and heterozygous for feathers on the legs, with a rooster which is heterozygous for both comb shape and feathers on legs. Show your work with a Punnett Square.



A) What is the genotypic ratio of this cross? Be sure you indicate the ratio numbers and the genotypes



B) What is the probability (not ratio) that you will have a chicken which has a pea shaped comb and clean legs?
