Biology photosynthesis reaction center question

If there is a mutation in one of the genes encoding a component of the P700 reaction center complex such that all copies of this complex are nonfunctional in a particular bacterial cell, what would be the result?



A. There would be no effect, as there are no bacteria that contain a P700 reaction center complex

B. This bacterial cell would have no way of generating ATP

C. This bacterial cell would not be able to harness light energy to form NADPH

D. This bacterial cell would be incapable of absorbing light energy





i assume its not A but i have no idea what it is!
