Help with sociology homework!?

Im really bad at sociology and need help

the questions are

1-what is meant by the term operationalisation of sociological concepts?

2-suggest two reasons why the results obtained from a postal questionnaire may not be representative of the population that it aims to study

3-Suggest two factors that may influence a sociologists choice of research topic

4-examine the advantages for sociologists of using official statistics in their researchs



If you could help me with just one of these questions it'd be great as i have an exam in the next few weeks and i am struggling
