English Homework World War 1?

Okay so for my English homework I have to write a poem, story, diary anything and present in a creative way. (Somebody did a solider and got an old wallet and put different aspects of his life tucked in there, something original like that please)



Please not the tea bag trick so it looks old as everybody has done that and I want to be original.



I have to choose a different perspective e.g some people are doing things such as the wives of the soldiers back home, the person who blanks out the letters from the soldiers, the person who makes propaganda posters.



Anyway I want something different like that and a way to present it? Can anyone think of anything original and different?



I thought of maybe a perspective of a horse, like a war horse and how he/she would see everything galloping towards their death?



I also then thought about a soldier who was thought to be dead yet woke up in a foreign place and his soldier friends left him there because they thought he was dead, yet he is alive and well but is suffering from horrible recollections of his days in war, he is dazed and confused? What do you think?



If you have any other ideas or ways to start then please say! Or opinions on my two ideas! And opinions on how I could present (in an original way) my two ideas above or any other ideas you may have?
