Sociology 204 Essay question! Need help understanding

"How can micro- and macro- analysis contribute to our understanding of homelessness, poverty, crime, and/or health care issues? What causes and solutions might the two levels of analysis yield relative to these issues?"



I do NOT want help answering this question, but just an explanation of what she is talking about and what she is wanting out of me to answer. I need to write a full page essay about this topic and I am just a little confused. This is my first Sociology class so I am a little intimidated by this. Can anyone explain this in more detail for me? I would appreciate it!
