English-Subject verb agreement question?




The sentence:

In other words, the kind of activities [that puts] you into this hyper-involved mode, completely engrossed state is not neccesarily the same thing that would allow someone else to feel flow.

I know the answer is g but I don't understand why that is. Isn't the subject "kind?" If this is the case then the verb "puts" goes with it. How is this wrong?
