How to find variable cost? Please help!!

I am answering a question on my homework and I'm very confused as to how the answers were found. it was a table that asked me to fill in values, and was given these to begin with

Q FC. VC. TC. MC
0 100
1 100
2 X 80
3 y 70
4 450
5 500
6 800

I'm so confused how they got x and y. they said it was 180 and 250 but where did they get those numbers??
