Can someone tell me where X came from with in this stat answer?

A researcher at NYU claims that for Mathematics courses the proportion of grades B or higher was more than 33.0%. In a random sample of 100 grades issued in the year 2006 there were 27 Fs, 15 Ds, 22 Cs, 14 Bs, 22 As. At a=0.10 test the researcher's claim.

---------

Ho: p=0.33

Ha: p>0.33

Critical value for alpha=10%=1.28

p?=(36/100)

p?=x/n. But how did they get x (36).
