Are there few occupations for chemical engineers ? need help!!

?t is said that there are 306.000 jobs for electrical engineering and 33.300 jobs for chemical engineering.

Are the figures true ?

.?sn't this a huge difference ?

.I mean chemical engineering is maybe the most profitable major in engineering but occupation rates are very low ?

I am going to choose my major in engineering this year and i am confused . i thought electrical engineering maybe has 4 or 5 times more job opportunuties, but it seems like they have more than 10 times ! is it true or i am missing something ?
