Please help me with these Bio questions!?

Why must hydrogen ions (protons) be moved across the thylakoid membrane by mobile carriers and membrane proteins? Make sure to discuss why they can't get across and what the purpose of moving them is.

Why must three CO2 molecules be fixed in the Calvin-Benson cycle before carbon molecules can be "released" from the pathway for use in making sugars and other carbohydrates?

Can a plant produce sugars from CO2 using Rubisco and the Calvin-benson cycle during the night?
