Physics I Lab help - heat engine?

Stuck on these questions about heat engines, basically the process is: the heat engine consists of air inside a cylinder which expands when the attached can is immersed in hot water. The expanding air pushes on a piston and does work by lifting a weight. The heat engine cycle is complete by immersing the can in cold water, which returns the air presure and volume to starting values.

So basically, can starts in ocld reservoir. Mass placed on platform. can is transferred from cold to hot reservoir. the mass is then removed. the can is returned to starting position, cycle begins again.

The questions are:
a) identify the processes in which heat is expelled to the cold reseervior.

b) identify the processes or steps in which heat is added to the hot reservior.

c) what does the area under the p-v curve represent?

Any insight or help would be wonderful. thank you!
