Math homework, stuck on last problem, can't figure it out.?

So I'm trying to find what 1 thing of each costs. The previous problems were easy after a reminder with some help, but I for the life of me cannot figure this last one out. We write two equations, then have to multiply one of the equations to get opposite coefficients. No matter what I multiply, I can't get opposite coefficients and cancel one out.

Shayna and Jessica each improved their yards by planting daylilies and ivy. They bought Shayna spent $68 on 12 daylilies and 10 pots of ivy. Jessica spent $50 on 8 daylilies and 9 pots of ivy. Find the cost of one daylily and the cost of one pot of ivy.

I've got.

12d+10i=68
8d+9i=50
