Please help homework question... I just need a clearer explanation... Chemistry?

Consider the structure of the molecule, cholesterol:

a) Based on the molecular structure of cholesterol, do you expect that this compound will be more soluble in blood (which you can think of as a polar solvent) or in the cell membrane (which you can think of as a non-polar solvent). FULLY EXPLAIN your reasoning.

b) Given your answer to part a), will cholesterol dissolve in the solvent, hexane, which has the formula, C6H14? FULLY EXPLAIN your reasoning. Also, draw out the lewis dot structure of hexane.

*I know that cholesterol is more soluble in hexane, C6H14 but I am not sure how to explain my answer. And I was unsure about part a). PLEASE HELP! THANK YOU!!! :)
