A cyclist is traveling up a 10 percent grade. He and his bike weigh 150 lbs. The length of the crank is 7" and the front sprocket is 6" in diameter. The diameter of the rear wheel is 26". The rider can comfortably apply 40 lbs to the bicycle pedal. 

What is the minimum force at the rear wheel/road interface needed to provide to move the bicycle uphill?
