Questions of Focal Length of Lenses?

These are my questions: 

1. If an object located far away in an infinite distance a focal length f in a converging lens, is the image created "virtual or real", "smaller or larger than object", or "straight or inverted". 

2. If the object is at 2F from converging lens, is the image created "virtual or real", "smaller or larger than object", or why "straight or inverted". 

3. Image characteristics "virtual or real", "smaller or larger than object", "straight or inverted", when the object is within the focal length of converging and diverging lenses.
