Give the systematic name of the aldehyde or ketone that reacts with ethyl lithium (CH3CH2Li) to give...?

Give the systematic name (with correct spelling and punctuation, i.e. 2-pentanone) of the aldehyde or ketone that reacts with ethyl lithium (CH3CH2Li) to give, after addition of water, 3-methyl-3-decanol as the final product.

Give the systematic name (with correct spelling and punctuation, i.e. 2-propanol) of the product obtained from the addition of ethyl lithium (CH3CH2Li) to butanal, followed by the addition of water.

I have been trying to understand this concept, but I am so lost. Can someone help me out please?
