Can you help me with this math question?

These are practice questions for part of a 4 hour assessment I have to do (see links below).

I was hoping someone could help me to think about these in a logical way. Perhaps with a formular for working out these types of questions. 

I realise these aren't esepcially hard but its bee quite a while since I've done maths questions like these. 

I got question 16 wrong and question 20 wrong. I got 15 out of 20 right, I want to make sure that I get 20 out of 20. 

Any help would be really appreciated, thanks in advance!
