Chemistry question about nuclear reactions/alpha decay

Chemistry question about nuclear reactions/alpha decay

I'm taking chemistry in school rn and for homework there is that question, but it doesn't explain it anywhere in my textbook and I can't find it anywhere online. I understand that with alpha decay, it takes 2 protons and neutrons from the nucleus, which is also basically the same as a helium atom but idk why it's not a neutral atom. Am I missing some piece of information for everything to click, or something? Am I explaining my confusion clear enough? Lol just to make everything clear the main question is " why isn't an alpha particle a neutral atom?"
