PLEASE can someone help me with a clinical chemistry question about concentrations!!!?
A urine specimen is delivered to the laboratory for a sodium measurement. The
procedure calls for 5.0 mL but the specimen is only 4.0 mL, and acquiring a
new specimen is not possible. The medical laboratory scientist at the bench
dilutes the specimen with 1.0 mL of water to 5.0 mL. The analyzer measures a
sodium concentration of 44 mmol/L. What is the corrected (actual)
concentration of the patient sample? Show your calculations.
