Calculus - Finding critical points of functions on intervals?

Please help, these are the practice problems that I'm stuck on and can't get right 

1) x^4 * e^-5x (should be 2 values) 

2) Find the absolute minimum and absolute maximum values of f on the interval below. 
f(x) = 3x4 - 24x2 + 2 (should be 2 values) 
[-3, 4] 

3) xe^-x^2/72 (should be 2 values) 
[-6, 12] 

4) x - ln(7x) (should be 2 values) 
[0.5, 2]
