Need help with Biology! Exam in two days?

A species of butterfly has two morphs, one cryptic and the other aposematic. Intermediate phenotypes have lower fitness than the other morphs. Additionally, females prefer to mate with males of the same morph as themselves. This is an example of: 

A. Directional selection 
B. Disruptive selection 
C. Assortative mating 
D. B and C only 
E. A and C only 

I honestly don't understand the question at all and I would really appreciate an explanation or the reasoning behind the answer!
