Calculus Question about Integrals?

MY QUESTION IS, where did the 1/2 THETA CAME FROM? BECAUSE what i would do here would be pull the 2 constants 1/2 to the side, and INTEGRATE just COS (2THETA) which would be SIN(2THETA),and then simplify. So WHAT AM I GETTING WRONG. WHERE IS HE GETTING 1/2TEHTA? how EXACTLY DID HE DERIVE THAT? PLS GUYSSS HELP ME HERE!!!! PLEASE!!
