The partition coefficient of iodine between CS2 and H2Ois 410. A solution of KI containing 8 g of the salt per litre was taken with CS2 unit equilibrium was attained. It was found that at equilibrium, the aqueous layer contained 2.15 g of iodine per litre and the CS2layer 35.42 g iodine per litre. Calculate the equilibrium constant for the equilibrium constant for the reaction
