Though there is nothing to commend about this system yet it is not out of place to state that:

(i)    as the system is simple, it can be maintained by anyone without adequate or special knowledge of accounting;

(ii)    it is less costly because expenses for keeping the records are every nominal and

(iii)    it is less time-consuming since the transactions are entered only in limited number of books.
